STEAM COMMUNITY TOOLS
Help
Paste a public Steam link, check how closely each tool matches, and pick one.
Supported links
Use public Steam Store apps, packages, bundles, curators, publishers, developers, franchises, searches, and news pages, or Steam Community profiles, hubs, Workshop files, inventories, and Market pages.
The .tools shortcut
Change .com to .tools in a supported Steam link and keep everything after it: steamcommunity.com becomes steamcommunity.tools, and store.steampowered.com becomes store.steampowered.tools. Either address works for either kind of link. One exception: an /app/ link is read as the Store page, so for a Community hub use the /games/ form of the link instead.
What the labels mean
Each card says how closely the tool matches. Exact is the Steam page you pasted. Resolved exact is that site's own page for the same thing. Search runs a search there with the name filled in. Contextual is a related page rather than the exact one. Cards are also marked Official for pages Valve runs, and Independent for everything else.
Links that are turned away
Sign-in, account, cart, checkout and trade-offer links are refused on purpose, as is any link carrying a password, token or session value. They are not needed to find a tool, and they are not safe to pass around.
